    Wow, we have hit winter – there was a definite temperature change this weekend! The days are lovely, but the mornings and evenings have definitely cooled down – we were pretty near a frost at our house this weekend!! So, its time to start thinking about our immune system and with all the colds and flus that are starting to pop up at the moment, it’s a good time to think about what we can do to try and either miss the bugs or help to make it not too…

    Chickweed – an amazing & nutritious weed …

    My garden has heaps of Chickweed (Stellaria media) at the moment! It tends to be a sign that the garden hasn’t been weeded for a while … but my excuse is, that I can’t weed until I have picked the amazing and nutritious chickweed! So, this pile of chickweed is going to be used for a few things, including making it into some pesto for dinner (on some yum tofu); wilting it overnight to add to almond oil to make into some salves for dry and itchy skin; and then…
